Extramural Testing

National Latin Exam

The National Latin Exam is offered to all students near the end of the winter term. The test consists of forty multiple-choice questions on Latin language and reading comprehension, as well as a handful of questions on Roman history and culture. There are several levels offered each year: Latin I, II, III-Prose, III-Poetry, IV-Prose, IV-Poetry, and V.

You can sign up for the exam by paying $3.00 to either Mr. Langford or Ms. Otenti before you leave for winter vacation. You will be notified in advance of the specific date and time of the exam.

SAT II: Latin Test

This exam is given at the June administration of the SAT. Sign up online at the College Board Website or call. Registration deadline is April 27.
