Named for John C. Kirtland, Instructor in Latin, the Kirtland Society promotes the study of the classical world and its literature. The club sponsors activities such as Certamen, presentations by visiting speakers, and local field trips. It also offers tutoring to students of Latin and Greek, as well as enrollment and preparation for several external exams like National Latin Exam and SAT II: Latin Test.
